Glooscap First Nations comes clean

Author: 2010/12/03

Glooscap First Nations Chief Shirley Clarke finally admits it was politicians on her Atlantic Canada band who pulled in salaries ranging from$200,000 to nearly $1 million annually. The information was based data obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation through Access to Information. Clarke lashed out at the CTF for releasing the information saying it deepens prejudice and reinforces stereotypes on First Nations governance.
